Eva Koester

Eva Lee (Lee) Koester, age 77, passed away on April 13, 2011 at Holy Rosary Health Care Center.

She was born in Kansas on February 13, 1934 to Orval and Gladys Baker. She married Harry Koester and together they raised two children.Mom had many jobs in life including insurance sales, gas company, cook and mail driver but her most important job was taking care of her two kids and then taking over care of her grandchildren after their mother died in 2001. She loved to travel and find any bargain. She loved her solar lights and flowers.

In addition to her husband Harry she was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son Kent and daughter Kathi; two special grandkids who were the love of her life Lexie LaRee and Kyle and a sister Ella Marie Bahr.

Graveside services will be held at the Densmore County Cemetery in Densmore, Kansas at a later date.
