Interment: will follow at the St. Ann's Cemetery in Poplar.
Evelyn Ione Loves Him-Scott, age 55, of Poplar, MT passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 at the Billings Clinic in Billings, MT.
Evelyn was born October 4, 1955 to Estelle Loves Him in Poplar. She was raised in Poplar by her mother and Melvin Scott Sr. She attended grade school in Poplar and attended high school in Busby, MT, and Seattle, WA.Evelyn worked at the Headstart in Poplar for the two years her oldest grandsons attended. She enjoyed reading, attending powwows, cruising around, and most of all spending special time with her grandchildren.She is survived by her daughters, Joilynn Loves Him and Edna Loves Him both of Poplar; son, Emery Loves Him of Poplar; adopted children, Rudy Loves Him of Wolf Point, MT, Luke Scott and Deona Scott both of Poplar; mother, Estelle Loves Him of Poplar; sisters, Carmela Scott of Walthill, NE, Annabelle Scott of Portland, OR, and Madeline Scott of Poplar; brothers, Matthew Scott Sr. and Dewayne Little Plume both of Poplar and Byron Scott of Miles City, MT; grandchildren, Willard Loves Him, Walter Loves Him, Elwayne Rush Jr., Michael Loves Him and Landyn Burshia; half sister, Mavis Hernandez Scott of Poplar; half brother, Melvin Scott Jr. of Poplar; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her sisters, Annette Scott and Lavina Scott; step father, Melvin Scott Sr.; and grandparents, Wilbur and Amelia Loves Him, Orville Loves Him, Stephen Loves Him, Madline Loves Him, and Rebecca Loves Him.
A wake will be held 7 p.m. Sunday, May 1 at the Poplar Cultural Center. Evelyns funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 2 also at the Poplar Cultural Center. Interment will follow at the St. Anns Cemetery in Poplar. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements
