    Jan and Family + Marian –
    I was stunned to hear of Bruce’s passing. I always enjoyed a visit with him though we didn’t
    connect very often. He always had a unique way of viewing the world and all that was going
    on in it. We lost the village philosopher with his passing. My heart and prayers are with
    all of you now and in the days ahead.

    Earl joins me in sending heartfelt condolences to you during this difficult time. We are thinking of, and praying for you. May our caring thoughts be with you in your sorrow, to bring you comfort for today, and courage for tomorrow. I always admired Bruce’s insight and his calmness during school board meetings, no matter how tense the situation was. He was a real champion for all educators. I felt blessed to have him on the board when I was employed by the Forsyth Public School system. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and the Forsyth community.

    The loss of anyone is painful, but, to lose a man good of heart is devastating to us all and especially family. As young men he taught about being a nice person. And then to not give any quarter on the football field. I will miss him!

    We are so sorry for your loss. Went through grade school with Bruce and it was never dull!!! Always enjoyed visiting with him – your two were so very good to Mom when she moved to Forsyth. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. Prayers and hugs to you and your family – and a special hug to Marian.

    Dang, dang, dang and crapola. Hard to believe Bruce is gone. I am so glad we got to see you all at the concert, my lasting memory is of his grinning at all of us. Of course he had been helping put chairs away so we didn’t get pictures with him, but that grin.
