Interment: will follow at the Chelsea Cemetery in Poplar, MT.

Flora Eagle Boy, age 68, of Poplar, MT, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt went home to be with the Lord on June 13, 2010, in Poplar, MT.

She was born on August 29, 1941, to Rose No Breast and Mathew Eagle Boy. She was raised in Chelsea, MT, and attended school in Poplar, MT.She spent the last few years enjoying the company of her grandchildren and her faithful companion, Weezy. She also enjoyed supporting her grandson, Logan Kirn, while listening to the radio. She also liked cooking and baking for all her relations and friends while she watched her favorite lifetime movie.

She is survived by 4 children, Russell Black Thunder, Holly Hopkins, Doyle (Carol) Black Thunder, and Lonnie Iron Bear, all of Poplar, MT; grandchildren, Matthew Black Thunder, Ashley Hopkins, Dorell Black Thunder, Donell Black Thunder, Travis Black Thunder, Joshua Black Thunder, and Jake Black Thunder, all of Poplar, MT; great-grandchildren, Ashton Hopkins, Geoffrey Black Thunder and many more, of Poplar, MT; brothers, Mikey Young, Floyd Eagle Boy, and Arnold Eagle Boy, all of Poplar, MT; sisters, Irene Lowry, Gloria Buckles, Naomie Montclair, Juanita Young, Velma Nepstad, all of Poplar, MT and Mariah Shephard of Saskatchewan, Canada; and special relatives from Saskatchewan, Canada, Eunice, Lori, Wayne, and Elgin Pinay. Extended families are the Kidders from Fort Yates, ND; the Red Eagles of Poplar, MT; the American Horses of Standing Rock, ND; the Lamberts of Wolf Point, MT; the Johnsons of Wolf Point, MT; and the Iron Bears of Poplar, MT.She was preceded in death by her parents, Mathew and Rose Eagle Boy; her maternal and paternal grandparents; sisters, Cynthia Sparvier, Sandra Red Elk, Savannah Eagle Boy, Isabelle Kidder, Mayme Red Eagle, and Mary Turning Heart; brothers, Nelson Eagle Boy, Melvin Eagle Boy, and Willard Eagle Boy; great-grandkids, Heavenly Angel Hopkins, and Cameron Black Thunder; numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all.

A visitation and prayer service will be held 7 p.m. Sunday, June 20, 2010 at the Poplar Cultural Center in Poplar, MT. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2010 at the Poplar Cultural Center in Poplar, MT with Pastor Waylan American Horse officiating.
