She married David McCulley in 1953. They welcomed two daughters, Linda Pauline and Jacklyn Marie. A highlight in their early years was when they worked at a small café together in Texas. In the later years her favorite things were watching television, drinking Pepsi, and eating chocolate, especially M&Ms and Hershey Kisses.

Her grandchildren; Lisa Gaddis (James Holden), Christopher Cox (Ashley), Katherine McCulley, David John McCulley, adopted grandson Matthew “Matty” Hotchkiss, a niece Fran McKenzie and numerous great grandchildren.
