Lucille Watson, 77, passed away on March 26th, 2011 at Aspen Meadows Healthcare Center in Billings, Montana.
Born in Beach, North Dakota on August 7th, 1933 to Arthur and Alice Smith, Flossie attended grade school and graduated high school in Savage, Montana in 1953. She married Samuel S. Watson on October 7th, 1953 in Miles City, Montana. The couple lived in Savage and Hardin and then settled in Forsyth, where Sam worked for the City until his death on March 11th, 1982. Flossie worked at the Rosebud Healthcare Center kitchen for 11 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Forsyth. Flossie thoroughly enjoyed crocheting, hunting, camping, fishing, playing bingo, cards, and games. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, dancing, gardening, cooking, and reading her Bible.
Flossie is survived by her brothers Roy Smith of Terry, MT and Gene Merchant of Whitewood, SD; sister Gladys Lye of Terry, MT; son and daughter-in-law Arthur and Julie Watson of Whitehall, MT; daughter and son-in-law Margaret and Bill Nickisch of Billings, MT; Son and daughter-in-law Jack and Yvette Watson of Boise ID; Sherry Watson of Billings, MT; Lynnette Watson of Forsyth, MT; twelve grandchildren and 15great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Alice Smith; husband Sam Watson, and brothers Benny Smith and Clarence Smith.
Funeral Services will be held at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth, MT on March 31st at 11:00 am; following the service burial will take place at the Forsyth Cemetery. I drove from Santa Rosa California to Forsyth Montana to see you flossy lesson only to know that you have passed away I went and visited the graves years and sand and I just sit there and cried because I really needed to talk to you I really wanted to see you and I wanted to apologize for things I need to apologize but God knows my intentions will good and I drove all that way so I just stay for a little while and I was hoping to see somebody I knew the only one I seen was win at so I just wanted to let you know and the family know I love you all very much and I’m sorry for the loss and God bless
