Early the morning of November 3, 2023, Foreman C. Mader, 66, changed his address from Tulsa, Oklahoma to Heaven after a lengthy illness and heart condition. He was born September 28, 1957 to Bob and Eva Mader, joining three older brothers, Justin, Arnie and Craig. A few years later he was blessed with sisters Marilyn, Beccy and Lody.
He grew up on the family ranch on the Montana Wyoming line south of Biddle. His first eight grades were attended in Wyoming at Little Powder School before going to Broadus, Montana for high school.
Foreman lettered in football, basketball and rodeo in high school. After graduating in 1976, he went on to college at Oral Roberts University where he earned a business degree.
For several years after college Foreman roped and rodeoed full time, literally coast to coast. In the early 1990’s he started selling real estate in Oklahoma. Eventually he became known as the “HUD King of Tulsa,” specializing in foreclosure sales. He continued in the real estate business the rest of his life.
Foreman married Sheryl Price in 1987. His daughter Rachel was born in 1988 and granddaughter Reagan in 2012. They were very loved and a true light in his life.
He was a talented soloist and sang at many functions from a young age. He loved to tell jokes and laugh with adults, but Foreman was also very gifted with children, who were drawn to him. Following his Dad’s interest in sage sayings, he collected them much of his life. He almost always had a new one to share with Mom when he would call home, and often wrote one of his favorites at the bottom of any letters or cards he sent. Foreman was a giver and the giving of a million dollars to the Lord’s work was his lifetime goal.
He is survived by his daughter Rachel and granddaughter Reagan of Tulsa, brothers Justin (Janet) of Gillette, Wyoming, Arnie (Denise) of Biddle, and Craig (Debbie) of Stephenville, Texas. Sisters Marilyn Mader of Lame Deer, Montana, Beccy Mader of Biddle, and Lody Mader Dye (Lance) of Camdenton, Missouri. In addition, he is survived by these longtime friends who were very special to him and became family: Jon Blanton, Dave Minton, and Shawna Johanson. Foreman was also very appreciative of Carmelita Imboden, who helped him with many things in his last days.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, grandparents, and several cousins.
A burial ceremony was held November 18th, 2023 at Bowers Creek Cemetery near Biddle, Montana. Memorial service will be held Friday, July 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Broadus, Montana. A pitch-in dinner will be held after the service with everyone invited.
