Francine DeCoteau, age 40, passed away at her home in Poplar on January 27,
2004.
Francine was born July 11, 1963 in Poplar to Elmer and Elizabeth DeCoteau. She attended school in Poplar and Newark, CA. She worked as a fire fighter for the BLM, as a state highway flagger and at A & S Industries in Poplar. She was a child care worker and assisted all of her family with their children. Francine enjoyed spending time with her friends and families. She always opened her home to anyone who needed refuge. She loved to give everyone a nickname. Francine loved animals, laughing, joking and teasing.
Francine is survived by her mother Elizabeth DeCoteau of Poplar, her three sisters, Eliza (Richard) Young, Jeanine DeCoteau, Birdie (Rick) Hawk, all of Poplar; her brothers, Elmer D. (Kristy) DeCoteau, Lonnie DeCoteau, Charles Al DeCoteau, all of Poplar, Lester Dale (Crystal) DeCoteau of West Mesa, UT, Carroll (Nadine) James of Frazer, MT. She is also survived by aunts Hazel (Harry) Three Stars of Poplar and Deloris (Maynard) Dickinson of WA, uncles Clayton (Doris) Lester of Scottsdale, AZ and Cody DeCoteau of FL, 12 nephews, 8 nieces, and numerous cousins, and adopted brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her father Elmer DeCoteau, brother Emerson DeCoteau, niece Erin DeCoteau, and nephew Jeffery Douglas.
