Frank Banus, age 82, of Kinsey, passed away at on October 28, 2004.
Frank was born on April 22, 1922 in Pottstown, PA to Coleman and Mary Nyilas Banus. He attended school in Pottstown and at an early age became interested in plumbing and heating. Frank enjoyed his work and worked hard at it for over 50 years. He also worked for Bethlehem Steel and helped in the construction of the Chase Manhattan Bank in New York and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel. He semi-retired in 1978 to care for his wife Doris, who passed away in 1982 after a long illness. At the age of 72, Frank moved to Montana with Patricia Morrisrevived a small ranch and built a house! After 20 years he thought he knew Patricia well enough and they were married on July 30, 2003. Frank loved his John Deer Tractors, kerosene lamps, hunting, farming and building on the ranch.
Frank is survived by his wife, Pat of Kinsey, his sons: Larry Banus (and wife Linda) Jerry Banus (and wife Jean), and his step-daughter Tricia Yeager (and husband Jim) all of Pottstown, PA. There are 5 grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Ripple Banus, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
