Funeral Service: will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 26, 2004 at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor Scott Firminhac officiating. Military honors will be provided.
Interment: will be at a later date in the Oregon Trail Cemetery in Casper, Wyoming.
Frank J. Costin, of Gillette, Wyoming, died Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette. He was 48 years old.
Frank John Costin was born June 18, 1955, the son of Betty (Porch) and John Costin in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Upon graduating high school, he entered the U.S. Navy on July 31, 1974. Frank served on nuclear submarines and frigates including the U.S.S. Leahy in Vietnam. After his discharge from the Navy, he resided on the East Coast, then returned to Missouri. He met and married his wife, Ginger Havey on November 19, 1977. The couple lived in St. Louis until they moved to Gillette, Wyoming in 1996. He was a member of the VFW Post 7756 and the American Legion Post # 42.
Frank is survived by his mother of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; his wife; one son, Stephen Costin; one daughter, Julia Costin; and one granddaughter, Alyssa Costin, all of Gillette, Wyoming.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial has been established in Franks name and donations may be sent in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716.
