Frank Loren F.L. Watson, age 74, of Miles City passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2007 at his daughters home in Miles City with his family at his side.
Frank was born in Miles City, Montana on January 5, 1933, the son of Roland and Winona (Johnson) Watson. He attended school and graduated from Garfield High School. While attending school, he worked for the Farmers Union. He married Carol Brooks on February 27, 1952. Following his schooling, he went to work for the Brooks ranch. In 1955, he went to work for McCone Electric where he worked until his retirement in 1995.
Frank was a volunteer fireman in Jordan. He had exceptional love for animals, especially horses. For many years he had his little barn and had on the edge of town which was called Franks Poor Farm and there isnt a person that knew Frank that couldnt tell a story about the poor farm. He and his son Wes loved their team of horses and wagon, hauling everyone they could for a ride especially during the holidays. Frank had many interests from dancing to socializing! He loved his community very much and most of all he was proud of his family and all the joys Frank had through the years. He dealt with some tough blows the last 11 years, losing his wife in 1996 and in the early 2000s he was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and earlier this year, he lost his son Wes. On August 6, 2007 Les and her husband Larry took Frank to their home where he could spend his final months being with family.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Leslie (Larry) Manning of Miles City, MT; four grandchildren: Travis Spang, Trevor T.K.
