Frank Wootan

Frank E. Wootan, of Fallon, MT passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2004 in South Lake Tahoe, California where he was visiting a brother.

Frank was 75 years old, born May 19, 1928 in Wilcox, Arizona. He was one of nine children born to James Osborna and Anna Ruth (Ditmars) Wootan.

He and Joanne Adair were married on October 12, 1949, in Cortez, Co, they had seven children. Although, Frank worked as a heavy equipment operator working on many of the Freeways in the Western United States, in his heart, he was always a cowboy.

Frank is survived by his wife of 54 years, Johanna of Fallon, MT, five sons; Michael (Dodie) Wootan of Glendive, Tim (Kathy) Wootan of Belt, Montana, Kelly Wootan of Prescott, AZ, Rhys (Sandra) Wootan of Fallon, MT and Casey (Jodi) Wootan of Fairfield, MT, fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother Fred Wootan, of South Lake Tahoe, CA, and two sisters; Erma Davis of Phoenix, AZ and Olive (Dick) Seilhammer also of Phoenix, AZ and by numerous nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters, two daughters; Peggy Ruth Hultman of Glendive, MT and Patricia Joanne Kohntopp of Miles City, MT and a grandson James Partin of Lake Butte, Oregon.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 19, 2004 in the chapel of Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 20, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.stevensonandsons.com. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City has been entrusted with the arrangements.
