Fred (Dick) Radmer, age 86 of Miles City, went to join his wife in heaven on July 27, 2015. He will be greatly missed by all of us that are here on earth.

Dick was born on February 16, 1929 in Shields, ND. He was the son of Frank and Rachael (Fairbrothers) Radmer. He attended grade school in Shields, ND. He worked on the family farm to help out his family. He married his wife Jackie in 1950. He enlisted in the United States Army on May 21, 1946. He served his country proudly. After the military he worked as a butcher in Washington. He lived most of his life in Miles City, MT. Dick enjoyed his family and friends. He loved to go fishing and hunting with his son-in-law Mike, grandson Tim and Nephew Fred. Dick’s biggest joy was playing with his great granddaughter and great-great grandson this past year. Rest in peace dad and we will see you again.

Dick was preceded in death by his wife Jackie, daughter Louise, and son Dickie. Dick is survived by his daughter Jeanne (Mike) Huston of Miles City; his son Gary (Barb) Radmer of Kelso, WA; his daughter Susan (Roger) Wolfe of Athol, ID; his sisters Adeline McCown of Miles City and Annie Stone of Culbertson, MT; and daughter in law Sheila Capek of Miles City.

My grandpa was the most important man to me. Like a second father since my wasn’t really around in Spokane he will always be greatly missed very very blessed that I got to spend my childhood and teenage years with him. His favorite thing was spending time with my son and my little sister. They broguht joy to his life and all though he knew he wouldn’t have long with them but he made every moment count. Forever in my heart grandpa
