Garland J Stenulson, age 50 of Colstrip, suddenly passed away on May 18, 2019. He was born on January 31, 1969 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Carmen and Gary Stenulson.
Garland had an infectious sense of humor along with a smile that lit up his entire face. He enjoyed pulling pranks, being a jokester, and just making everyone laugh.
Garland really enjoyed rebuilding classics cars, four-wheeling and fishing in the mountains. He did everything with passion and spirit. His greatest accomplishment and most treasured moments were being a dad to his two sons that he loved more than anything else. And when his granddaughter was born, his softer side came out and he was full of pride and joy.
He is survived by his sons, Austin and Devin, his granddaughter, Octavia, his brothers, Gary Jr., Gene, and Gerald (Heather), his nieces and nephew, Malorie (Chance), Kyle (Aurora), and Veronica, and many great-nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Stenulson, and his father, Gary Stenulson Sr.
Garland will be deeply missed by his family and the many friends that he made laugh along the way.

So sorry to hear this news. Garland always made us laugh with his stories and all his shananigans. I still laugh remembering the camping trip to Tongue River when we could hear the duct tape coming from Garlands tent while he tried to fix the tent door. I am sad to hear Garland is no longer with us. It was my “great” pleasure to have known him even if it was
just for a short time while I worked on, what I would believe, was his pride and joy(rs camaro). I thank him
and his family for entrusting me with it, because I know what it meant for them. I will again someday be
able to talk cars with him, until then, heartfelt condolences will have to suffice.
