Gary Allen Barnes was born February 18, 1953, to Phillip and Marie Barnes and the only brother of three older sisters.
He attended college for a short time in Helena, MT to become a Diesel Mechanic and then returned to run the family ranch.
He met Richelle and wed her in 1973, and to this union came three beautiful girls, Stacie my little lacy lady, Amber my brown eyed girl, and Eva my little blue-eyed princess.
Gary enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved riding on the ranch and helping his neighbors out with brandings. He took so much pride in his horse Loddy Daw, a beautiful sorrel mare he broke and had his daughter show in horse shows. He really enjoyed playing poker with his friends and taking all their money on a bluff. He also loved the Casino Machines. Above all he loved spending time with his daughters and his grandchildren.
Gary was preceded in death by his father Phillip Barnes; mother Marie Barnes; sister Phylis Lantis & Eva Wickens; grandsons Shad Schaak and Landon Moreland; and his son in law Tyler Pennington.
He is survived by sister Karen (Kenny) Rogers; Daughters Stacie (Matt), Amber (Dale), & Eva; Grandchildren Tylor, Larisah, Taylor, Xavier, Shelten, and Mariah; Great Grandchildren Ledger and Lincoln; Stepchildren Tiphani, Britnea, Daniel, and Nathaniel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gary passed away at home peacefully with the love of his three girls surrounding him on June 14, 2023.
