Vigil Service: Sunday, September 19, 2004 at 7:00pm at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel

Funeral Services: Monday, September 20, 2004 at 2:00pm at the Lindsey Memorial Presbyterian Church in Poplar, MT.

Interment: Poplar City Cemetery

Gary Ben Mail, age 51, of Agency Village, SD formerly of Poplar, MT passed away September 15, 2004 in Sisseton, SD due to cancer.

Gary was born in Poplar, MT to Gordon and Gwen (Johnson) Mail on February 17, 1953. He was raised in Poplar and attended schools there. In 1971 he graduated from Eagle Butte High School in Eagle Butte, SD and then attended Haskell Junior College. Gary worked in construction and carpentry. On March 31, 2000 he married Barbara Simon in Sisseton, SD. Gary was a talented musician, he loved fishing, playing jam sessions, was a movie fan and playing bingo. Gary was a member of Lindsey Memorial Church and attended the Long Hollow Presbyterian Church in Sisseton, SD.

Gary is survived by his wife, Barbara, two daughters, Julianne and Amy Mail, three sons, Tim, Josh and Rob Mail all of Sisseton, SD, one adopted son David Goette of Sisseton, SD, his brothers and sisters, Little Gwen, Marilyn, Russell, Gordon Allen all of Poplar, MT and Wendell of Wolf Point, MT and six grandchildren.

    In light of the new technology involved in remember our loved ones, Ciam Marie Mail (daughter) and I, the former Mrs, Rose M Mail, would once again like to be sure that our memories and love for Gary never go unknown. As his first wife, having his only biological child, I an sure that Ms. Gwen and Mr, Monte Martin stand firm in me make this point. Blessings Be to All.
