Gene Arthur Burch, age 63 of Miles City

Gene Arthur Burch, 63, of Miles City passed away on June 22, 2013 in Miles City.

Gene was born on November, 2, 1949 in Livingston, MT; the son of Don and Maria (Gross) Burch. Gene attended school through his high school years. Gene spent a year in the Army serving our country.  He then went on to school for small engine repair, and he worked on fixing lawn mowers and bicycles. Gene had a big heart when it came to helping out people in their time of need. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, playing cribbage and loved to watch games on T.V. Gene also had a fond love for animals.

Gene is survived by his family: Chuck Gross, Jeannie Gross, Magdalena Gross, Katie Gross, Michelle Gross, Bob Vetch, Ida Singer, Pat Singer, Mr. & Mrs. Jeannie Vetch, Louie Vetch, Dawn Kellmer and a half-sister. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, a step brother and his cousin Joseph “Barcode” Kellmer.

Military graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eastern Montana State Veteran’s Cemetery in Miles City.  Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City is in charge of the arrangements.
