My condolences to Angie, Nick, and rest of Gene’s family.
Gene was a constant source of entertainment when I was first married into the Mothershead family. He was strong and wild and tougher than most anyone I’d ever met. And quiet. But you could watch the wheels turning and his eyes sparkle when he was tickled about something. Years later I discovered that he was kind of a softy too. He was a good horseman and loyal to his family. He was a work hard/play hard man who lived life on his terms, even tho I always thought he was born in an era too modern for him.
Gene will be missed by many. My heart goes out to you all.
