Man, how I’ll miss these two and there endless sense of humor. They were always a hoot to be around and could always make me laugh. Even though at 70, Evelene and George nicknamed me “old lady George”, and at the time I was 20. And they called me that til the last day! Love you guys and your all in my thoughts and prayers!

Nellie and family, Just received the news today. So very sorry to hear, my heart hurts for you. Know that you are in our hearts and prayers here in Butte – everyone sends their regards. It seems that your parents were a great fun loving couple, happy together for many years – well of course they were great to have such a kind, caring, wonderful daughter. Hope you share many memories with friends and family during this time.

Gladys and Barney Considine says
George and Evelene were tremendously valued by so many people. Barney remembers playing with his cousins Evelene, Bertha, and Kathleen as children. We remember stopping unannounced at the Moorhead house and being welcomed unreservedly. Visiting with George and Evelene at reunions and other gatherings was always special. Evelene valued old-fashioned yellow rose bushes. She fondly remembered the one at the Considine Homestead. At the Moorhead house she grew a cutting that came from the Willow Creek Cemetery that holds her uncle who died in his first year of life. Our sympathy to the family and friends of Evelene and George.
