George loved his trips to Portland every year to visit with his daughter Lynda and family. Megan, Anna, and George celebrated their birthdays together. George was proud of his family.
He was preceded in death by his father George, mother Minnie, brother Joey, sister Marget, and sons Richard and Ricky.

May your family and friends find comfort in God’s promise to “swallow up death forever… and wipe away the tears from all faces” (Isaiah 25:8). Along with the promise of a time soon when “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4. Remember the hope of “a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous” (Acts 24:15). My sincere condolences to your family.
The Brattin family says
George was so many things to the Brattin family for nearly 32 years that they are too numerous to mention, but friend, mentor, helper, and listener would be at the top of that list. Our treasured friend is with the Lord and for that we give thanks. Our prayers are with all of the family in this time of great loss.
