George always said When my time comes dont feel sad, dont stop for me, keep things going and dont make a big deal over me. Where I am going I will be happy with no more sickness and pain. I just want everyone to be happy and get along. Dont have hard feelings and remember forgiveness. Prayer will help you through this. Dont forget in my own way I loved each and every one of you. I only worry about my Fred (Deacon). Tell Nikki to take care of him. He was my whole life.
George was always a cowboy. He was an avid team roper going to Tyran Roping School many times learning the art of team roping. As George always said, practice makes perfect. He brought his back his skills to his sons Les and Bill and grandsons Deacon and Thummer. Grandpa taught them well and he always said as they left for a roping, now win, no losing. Well miss you grandpa as we head down the highway to rope, but we know youll always be there with us. In the future youll always see the great grandsons swinging a rope soon as they start to walk and able to set on a horse.
George was very proud of his granddaughter Faron Marie Brown as a barrel racer. Her first place wins always made grandpas day.
