George Michael Edwards Jr., age 29, of Greycliff Montana, formerly of Terry passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2008.
George was born onJune 22, 1979 in Terry, Montana, the son of Ruby (Kinsey) Bearley and George M. Edwards Sr., they divorced a little over a year later. George lived with his mom in Terry for three years and then later moved to Deer Lodge and he attended school from Kindergarten through part of his junior year. He then moved back to Terry where he finished his junior year and graduated from high school. In 1997, he went to Wyoming Tech for engine and air conditioning. After he graduated from there, he went to Texas then Colorado to do construction, building golf courses and other things. After that, he came back to Terry and worked for area ranchers and then went to work at the Farmers Union. When getting done with that, began doing road construction for United Rentals. After eight years, he gave up that and moved to Greycliff and went to work for the phone company. Thats where he lived with Elysia and her boys for the last two years.
George is survived by his soul mate, Elysia and her boys Nevada and Cole; his mother and stepfather, Ruby (Larry) Bearley; his father, George Michael Edwards Sr. of Lodge Grass, MT; sisters, Misty, Ruby LeAnn, Josiaha and Dakota of Terry; two step-brothers: Justin (Tammy) Bearley of Wyoming, and Wayne Bearley of North Dakota; a step sister, Bonnie and her daughter Niki of Idaho; grandpa Brice (Winnie) Kinsey of Terry; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Great grandparents, Bob and Dolly Kinsey, his grandma Lois Kinsey, grandma Ida Edwards, grandparents Adolph and Montana Ulrich and a cousin.
A gathering will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Terry. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Community Presbyterian Church in Terry.
