In Memory Of

George Reams, age 76 of Miles City.

April 9, 1942 – September 21, 2018

George Reams, age 76, of Miles City passed away on September 21, 2018 at his home in Miles City.

George was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on April 9, 1942, the son of Lester and Margaret (Myer) Reams. George grew up in the Minneapolis area where he attended schools and graduated from high school. Following his schooling he enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1967 in which he served until 1970 when he was honorably discharged from the service. While in the service, he served as an airplane mechanic. George married Sharon Polack and they had two children, Scott and Debbie. After moving to Miles City, George worked doing maintenance at Pine Hills for many years. George married Beverly Atwood Lueck in 1979. He was a member of the Valley Community Church of Miles City as well as a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association where he volunteered and escorted for many funeral processions over the years. George enjoyed Twins Baseball and was a Minnesota Vikings fan and attended several games. He enjoyed using his metal detector and took two with him on a bus trip to Minnesota, finding only a couple old wrenches and a couple beer cans on that trip. He loved motorcycles and owned many. He enjoyed fishing and went on many fishing trips. George and his son always found “good deals.” He enjoyed woodworking and built many projects for he and Bev’s home. He was a very generous man, often giving away things that he still needed and buying new to replace.

George is survived by a daughter Debbie; Bev’s children: Sue (Tom) Culhane of Minneapolis, MN; Butch (Connie) Lueck of Minneapolis, MN; Beckie (Steve) Lotzer of Minneapolis, MN; and Rick (Tammy) Lueck of Minneapolis, MN; and numerous grandchildren and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Bev and a son Scott Reams of Onamia, MN.

George was a “Ringo Star” in the making! He loved his drums and being part of the music at church. He enjoyed helping the kids with Awana years back, even though they had to yell their scriptures at him so he could hear. ;). Enjoy heaven, George!
