My sincerest condolences to George’s family and friends. I’ll always remember George’s love of music and drawing his beloved trucks in high school art class. I’m so sorry for your loss .

To all of George’s family,
So sorry to hear of George’s passing. It doesn’t seem possible that so many years since the music, escapades, and just being teenagers have gone by. I don’t think I have ever remembered George without seeing a picture in my mind of him strumming his guitar. And until Cindy mentioned above about drawing trucks, I had completely forgotten about that. Treasure the time you had with George and your memories will always keep him close.
Muff Engdahl says

Sorry to hear about George. One great memory was listening to him sing and play on the football road trips. He sang White Line Fever as good as any Nashville star. He will be missed.
Tammi Grimm Littrell says
My heartfelt sympathy to George’s family. I have so many fond memories of our high school years spent playing music and driving the streets of Jordan in George’s pickup. We had re-connected in these later years and it was so good to catch up with him. George will always hold a special place in my heart. I will never hear the song “Pop a Top” and not think it him. RIP, my buddy!

I had an enjoyable visit with george a few weeks ago. he will be missed by everyone who knew him. My best memory is george’s impersonation of a neighbor while we were supposed to be working on the fence line, everyone laughed too hard to build fence. seems like yesterday the old red ford was kickin up dust. Thinking of everyone at this time

Tom, Foss and family …
I was stunned to learn of Geroge’s passing. Too young. Too soon. My regret is that George is gone and I never got to know him. My heart and prayers are with all of you as you walk through this dark valley. God’s grace helps us reach the other side, and focusing on the best memories are a real key to that. Sending a hug to each one.

Florence Jester says
Our family has many good memories of George, but the one that always come first to mind is him sitting on his adopted mother’s bed in the hospital in Memphis, TN, playing and singing her favorite country western music. She was at the end of her life, and I will never forget his singing “Crystal Chandeliers” for her. George had a good and generous heart. May he rest in peace.
