Georgia was born in Miles City, Montana on April 12, 1926 to Paul and Martha Burt. The second of seven daughters, Georgia was raised in and around the Miles City area.

Georgia married Winfred Berg in 1944, Gene Young in 1948 and Doyce Marricle in 1953. After moving to Glasgow, Georgia worked at various places, including Kens Supper Club and Glasgow Livestock Salesyard. She married Whit Levanger on May 2, 1962 at Chinook, Montana. They lived on the Rock and Water Farm north of Glasgow for many years and in 1978 moved to Whitehall where she resided until her death.

Georgias door was always open and she was always caring for and feeding anyone that needed a hot meal or a place to stay. She was in her "element" when she was using her hands, whether in her garden, using a hammer or just creating something. The road least traveled was the road Georgia would follow for there you would find that rock that she needed or some strange new plant or meet a stranger and make them a friend. Bring her a stray calf or lamb and she would welcome them into the family and love them and care for them. Always an avid reader, Georgia enjoyed books on politics, religion, economics and many other subjects. She not only read the books, but would then apply what she had learned to her own life whether it was gardening, plumbing, building, etc. She was always so proud to be one of the "Burt girls." Her father, mother and sisters were her best friends.

Besides raising her own children, she raised two granddaughters and has helped anyone that knocked at her door.
Her parents; sisters Shirley, Billie Jean, Paula and Ardis; and husband Whit preceded Georgia in death.

Georgia is survived by two sisters, Ramona Miles of Miles City and Doris Taylor of Polson; one son, Paul Berg of Riverton, Utah; daughter Jeffree Robuck (Ken) of Whitehall; daughter Dene Brooke (Barry) of Pensacola, Florida; three granddaughters, Tammy and Naomi Berg and Whitney Brooke; four grandsons, Chad, Josh and Aron Dolan and Cody Brooke; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
