Mrs. Georgie C. Dame went to heaven on December 1, 2025; to be with her husband, that pre-deceased her, she was the last surviving member of a family of 9 children. Georgie was born November 22, 1931, in Beach, ND, to George and Helen Beeler. She was raised in Wibaux, MT before marrying Lawrence Dame and moving with him for road construction. Eventually they settled in Miles City to raise their four children. She was never a stay-at-home mom, she worked as a waitress, flagmen, egg candler, before settling in as a nursing assistant at a county nursing home before her retirement.
Georgie enjoyed hunting and fishing in her younger years and gardening and crafting later. Her favorite hobby was crocheting of which she made multiple doll clothing for male and female dolls.
Georgie is survived by three of her four children (Richard Dame preceded her in death) Virginia Wilson of Killeen, Tx., Cynthia (Cindy) Kowalzek of Billings, and Calvin Dame of Miles City; 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews

Aunt Georgie was the last of George & Helen Beeler’s children, my mom’s last surviving sibling. Sorry Virginia, Calvin and Cindie and to her grandchildren and friends. Aunt Georgie was such a hard worker and helped many family members in their time of need. Their Family Circle is now heavenly united.

God sent another angle to heaven, Cindi and family I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss going to Georgies house and checking up on her, bringing her fresh vegetables every summer, and just to visit. First she was my mother in law, after that changed she became my mom. and good friend, But always family. rest in peace mom. ll miss you. You were such a hard worker, Georgie is a word derived from Greek words meaning Farmer or Earth worker. fitting because she always had a big beautiful garden.

When I was a kid, I spent a significant amount of time hanging around Buzz and Jeanie’s house south of Golva. One time I remember your mom and Jeanie washing dishes and giggling for what seemed like forever. I don’t remember what they were laughing about, but they would almost stop giggling, and then one or the other would start again. It went on and on. That had to have been 50 years ago, and I can still see them standing at that sink.
