Geraldine Renee Scott, 23 of Poplar, passed away September 17, 2006 at Northeast Montana Health Services in Poplar. She was born February 15, 1983 to Brenda L. Big Leggins and Matthew W. Scott, Sr.
Geraldine attended Poplar schools. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Geraldine is survived by her parents, Brenda Big Leggins and Matthew Scott, and her grandmother, Estelle Loves Him, whom she thought of as her second mom and raised her, all of Poplar; brothers Matthew Scott of Poplar and Dustin E. Scott of Littleton, CO; and sisters, Matti J. Big Leggins, Sue A. Scott, Audrea Scott, all of Poplar, and Miranda Scott, of Wolf Point. Also surviving are grandparents, Margret Snell and LaVern Loves Him, all of Poplar, Hazel Longee of Omaha, NE; nieces and nephews, Estella Geralynn BigLeggins, Briana Scott, ValRae Scott, Cerida Black Wolf, Matthew T. Scott, and Donte Eagle Boy, all of Poplar; cousins, Allen Red Boy, Shilow McKay, Amber Calf Tail, Deona Scott, Orvella McKay, Mason McKay, Emery Loves Him, Edna (James) Loves Him, and Joilynn (Elwayne) Rush; favorite uncle Dewayne Little Plume; aunts Neva Scott Lodermilk of Billings, Mavis Hernandez Scott, Evelyn Loves Him both of Poplar, Carmela and Annabelle Scott of Winebego, NE; her two favorites were Estella Big Leggins and Orvella McKay. She also has numerous aunties, uncles, nephews, nieces, grandmas and grandpas and numerous friends on the street.
She was preceded in death by her sister Annette Scott and aunt Rhonda Big Leggins and grandfather Melvin (Toby) Scott.
Wake services will begin at 4 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm on Sunday, September 24, 2006 from 4 to 7 with a prayer service at 7 pm at the Poplar Cultural Center. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 25, 2006 at 10 am with interment in St. Anns Cemetery.
