Glen Schuetzle, age 70, of Miles City, Montana passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2004 at the Holy Rosary Health Center in Miles City.

Glen was born on January 31, 1934 in Plevna, Montana the son of Ted and Meleta (Hoenky) Schuetzle. He attended Lame Jone's country school until the eighth grade and graduated from Plevna High School in 1951. In 1955, he began working on the Air Force Base at Glasgow, Montana and then went to work for Boeing Aircraft in Seattle, Washington. Glen moved to Hayden Lake, Idaho and began working as a mechanic. Glen moved onto Fallon, Nevada where he purchased a bar. On July 6, 1965 Glen and Ginger Wedgeworth were united in marriage in Virginia City, NV. They owned and operated the Wagon Wheel Bar in Fallon, NV from 1965 to 1973 before moving back to Lame Jone's to begin ranching. Due to ill health, Glen and Ginger sold their cattle and equipment in 1986 and moved to Miles City where they have resided ever since. Glen enjoyed fishing, playing cards and working jigsaw and crossword puzzles. He loved spending time with his family and friends and especially his grandchildren.

Glen is survived by his wife Ginger of Miles City, MT, his daughters Annette Mann of Miles City, MT and Sharon (David) Cushman of Peoria, AZ, sons, Max (Peggy) Griffiths of Sand Pedro, CA, Craig (Marrianee) Griffiths of Reno, NV, sister, Irene (Mel) Tombre, of Savage, MT, sister-in-law and brotherin-law Francis and Gladys Speir, of Tyler, TX, fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, his son Ross Griffiths, and his brother Al Schuetzle who passed away a day earlier on December 1, 2004.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2004 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 6, 2004 at 10:00 am at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at a later date in the family lot in the Lame Jone's Cemetery in Plevna.
