Interment: Custer County Cemetery.
Glenda Gaye (Gaye-Gaye) Muri, age 55, of Miles City, Montana passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City.
Gaye was born on June 1, 1956 in Jordan, Montana the daughter of Gerald and Shelley (Schneider) Bozarth. She attended grade school and high school in Miles City and graduated as Valedictorian of her nursing class in 1995. Gaye and Rob were married in Miles City on July 8, 1978 in Miles City, Montana. To this union, two sons were born, Dax and Darin.
Gaye always saw beauty or found a lesson in everything life presented her. Her optimistic and determination was a strength to her family when they came to her for support. Gaye cherished her grandchildren. She had boundless love for them rivaled only by Gods love for her. Her grandchildren and family brought her all-embracing happiness. Gaye loved watching her sons in many sports through the years and she enjoyed playing softball for many years.
Gaye has completed her journey with unshakable faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who blessed her with comfort and peace when she needed it most. She will be greatly missed.
Gaye was preceded in death by her father Gerald Bozarth and her step-father Ed Jone's. Gaye is survived by her husband Rob Muri of Miles City, MT; sons: Dax (Beth) Muri and their children Orin and Tailey of Miles City, MT; and Darin Muri of Billings, MT; her mother Shelley Bozarth of Miles City, MT; her sisters: Rita Nicholson of California and her daughters Jessica and Angela, Debbie (Duane) Maier of Miles City, MT and their children Katie of Dickinson, ND and Dana (Josh) Opp of Dickinson, ND; her brother Terry Bozarth of Miles City ,MT; and many other relatives and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2011 with family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Miles City. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Custer County Cemetery.
