Gloria Jean Markos, age 60, of Miles City passed away on Monday, August 25, 2008 at the Holy Rosary Health Center in Miles City.
Gloria was born on August 31, 1947 in Roundup, Montana, the daughter of William and Mary (Cersel) Perkins. She attended schools in Roundup and helped on the family farm. Gloria married Charles in 1968 in Roundup and they later moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. After a couple years, they moved to Miles City where they worked for Custer County. They have remained in Miles City ever since.
Gloria is survived by her husband Charles Markos of Miles City, MT; her daughter Wanda White of Miles City, MT; and numerous nieces and nephews. She also had by four brothers: Tony, Billy, Junior and William; and three sisters: Claudia, Mary Ellen and Shirley.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 8, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Custer County Cemetery.
