Gloria Stroh, age 69, of Fannie, Wyoming passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2007 at the Holy Rosary Health Care in Miles City, following a short battle with cancer.
Gloria was born in Page, North Dakota on December 20, 1938, the daughter of Leo and Myrtle (Conner)Willert. She attended school inKathay and at Fissiden, North Dakota and graduated at Richey, Montana. Gloria married Robert Stroh on November 26, 1956. In 1962, she moved to Richey, Montana where she dedicated her life to the upbringing of her seven children. She was a good wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and mother-in-law. She moved with the family to Terry and Brockway. Robert passed away in 1990 and she moved toFrannie, Wyoming and has remained there since. Through her time of illnesses she had a sense of humor, very caring to her caregivers and making her family feel loved. She had a green thumb, loved cooking, and enjoyed word searches and puzzles.
She is survived by her seven children: Roxann Lantis of Miles City, MT; Vicky (Bob) Hutchens of Sidney, MT; Robin (Lisa) Stroh of Harlem, MT; Sandy (Arnold) Ceynar of Glendive, MT; Donna McCloy of Lewistown, MT; Steven Stroh ofFrannie, WY; and Melissa (Donn) Franklin of Forsyth, MT; two sisters: Joyce Peak and Cindy West; four brothers: Darryl, Ben, Steve and Rick Willert; seventeen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, a daughter Sheryl, a granddaughter Brittney and a son-in-law Patrick Lantis.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date inFrannie, Wyoming at a later date. Burial will be held at the Brockway cemetery in Brockway, Montana. Stevenson and sons Funeral Home of Miles City and family are in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family by visitingwww.stevensonandsons.com. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the family of Gloria Stroh for a memorial to be established at a later date.
