I am so sorry to hear your loss. He was a very good man and he touched many people in a positive way. Remember, it isn’t the beginning and ending dates of a persons life that mean the most, but the dash in between. Now is the time to remember all the good times, laugh at all the fun times, and smile at the love that was shared.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
    Timothy

Dear family of Hans L. Schweighauser – Please be comforted by your beautiful memories and recalling the talents of Mr. Schweighauser. I hope you also find the following Bible promises comforting at this difficult time. Be assured that it was not a part of the Creator’s purpose that people suffer and die. Everything made by God was “very good” (Genesis 1:31). Death was introduced by Adam’s disobedience (Romans 5:12). Our loving Creator has promised an end to pain and death. (Revelation 21:4). The promise of Paradise, the perfect conditions God intended for mankind in the Garden of Eden, will be fulfilled including God’s “will being done as in Heaven also up on Earth” (Matt 6:9, 10). Please find comfort in Bible promises of a hopeful future (John 17:3).

We will all miss Hans. We must recognize Hans for his time as a COPS member who was willing to volunteer his services to make Miles City a safer place. Rest assured, Hans is in Heaven now with all of the previous COPS members who have passed before him. Our prayers are with his family in this time of loss.

Hans, the Police Officers of the Miles City Police Department salute you. Thank you for your service.
