In Memory Of

Harley Spotted Bull

Family Service: 7 p.m. Sunday, December 19, at the Assembly of God Church in Poplar, MT.

Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Monday, December 20, at the Assembly of God Church in Poplar, MT.

Inurnment: will be held at a later date.

Harley Dean Spotted Bull, age 68, of Poplar, MT passed away December 14, 2010 at the Billings Clinic Hospital due to heart complications.

Harley was born on April 4, 1942 to Allen and Esther (Walking Eagle) Spotted Bull. He grew up and attended school in Poplar. In January of 1964 he married Kae Hanson. This union yielded three children; Sheila, Wayne and Allen Spotted Bull.Over the course of Harleys life, he worked on numerous construction projects throughout Montana. Harley was the Project Manager of A&S Construction before retiring in 2004.Harley enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was an adventurous man who loved family vacations. He enjoyed the company of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He would always have candy to give them. Harley left a lasting impression on the people he met. He will be remembered as a generous person who loved to laugh and joke. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Harley is survived by his daughter, Sheila Spotted Bull of Poplar; two sons, Wayne (Marlo) Spotted Bull of Ft Yates, ND and Allen (Jessica) Spotted Bull of Poplar; sister, Jeanne (Robin) Charette of Poplar; two brothers, Ronnie Spotted Bull and Romeo Carrillo of both of Poplar; grandchildren, Randie (Jestin) Belton, Rena Belton, Dusti & Rollen Spotted Bull all of Poplar, Ellana (Kyle) Claymore, Ryan Red Horn, Marilyn Fox, and Hailey Spotted Bull of Ft. Yates; four great-grandchildren, Chloe Shields, Emma Dupree both of Poplar, Kaeden and Harley Claymore of Ft. Yates; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his best friend Kae Spotted Bull; parents Allen and Esther Spotted Bull; sister, April Vondall; nephew, David Vondall; and grandchild, Heather Vondall.

A family service will be held 7 p.m. Sunday, December 19, at the Assembly of God Church in Poplar. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, December 20 at the Assembly of God Church in Poplar. Inurnment will take place at a later time.Condolences may be sent to the family at www.stevensonandsons.com. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.

    I worked with Harley in 1964 @ Explosive Technology Co in Santa Clara Ca. he was a great friend and a real nice guy who i enjoyed working with. So sad to hear of his passing.
