Harvey Wayne Byrd Sr. was born on August 31, 1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Parents were Hobert James Byrd and Mary Elizabeth (Rhea) Byrd.
Harvey worked construction throughout his life. Florida and Montana were his home where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR and woodworking. Harvey also worked with youth as a baseball, soccer coach and as a Boy Scout leader. In 1989 Harvey moved to Montana were he found the love of his life, Vanna Lancaster. Harvey loved life. He loved his country, friends and his family.
Harvey was called home on December 3, 2015 he had worked his last ticket. Harvey is preceded in death by Parents Hobert James Byrd, Mary Elizabeth (Rhea). Harvey is survived by his wife Vanna Leah (Lancaster), Sons; Eddy, Harvey Wayne Jr., Leonard; Daughters Heather, Sherri, Ashlee and Jennifer; mother-in-law Mary Lancaster; two half sisters, and 14 Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on December 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Broadus. Condolences to the family may be sent by visiting www.stevensonandsons.com. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
