Heath J. Becker, age 31, of Colstrip whose soft smile and gentle nature was taken from us way too soon on December 11, 2009. He was born to Jerry and JoAnne on October 12, 1978 in Billings, Mt.Heath graduated from Colstrip High School in 1997. Following graduation he attended DIT in Denver for auto mechanics, graduating in 1999. For two years he was employed with Hansers in Billings, then moved to Spearfish, South Dakota and spent 3 to 4 years working in the construction trade building houses and businesses. Having a fondness for the rolling hills and country side he returned to Colstrip where he had been employed with Rosebud Power.
Heath was happiest with his head in some auto engine, hunting or fishing with his Grandpa, father Jerry or his friends. He also enjoyed riding his Harley and feeling the wind on his face. He played darts with the dart league here in Colstrip.
Heath was preceded in death by his grand parents Barbara & Harry Pops Becker, Jean & Joe Howell, aunts Michelle & Lucy Howell, and his friend Justin Murnion. He is survived by his parents Jerry & JoAnne and a brother Steven all of Colstrip, and a sister Heidi of Gillette, Wyoming. As well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and an enormous extended family and group of friends.
Heaths departure from this world leaves a huge void to fill and big foot steps to follow in. We will miss our Gentle Giant. Memorials are suggested to: Primary Children's Hospital P.O. Box 58249 Salt Lake City, UT 84158-0249
