Heather Emily Johnson, age 32, of Colstrip passed away on August 5, 2015 at her Mother’s home in Colstrip. She was born September 7, 1982 in Billings, MT to John and Leslie (Mennie) Johnson.
Heather attended grade school in Colstrip and finished her education at Custer County District High School. While living in Miles City, Heather met Jason Heathman. After knowing each other for about 2 years, they started dating and together they have four children. In 2011 they moved back to Colstrip from Billings, where they lived and worked at the time of her death.
Throughout the years, Heather held many jobs, including working at Town Pump, being a daycare worker, a bartender, and finally a Janitor at a Power Plant. She enjoyed listening to music and watching TV and movies. Heather loved animals and she collected knives.
She is survived by Jason; her 4 children: Jared (13), Savanna (8), Debrah (3), and John (1); her mother Leslie; grandfather Doug; sisters Stephanie and Amber; brother Mike, of Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
Heather was preceded in death by her father John and her grandmother, June Mennie.

Saddened by the loss of Heather. My heart goes out to Leslie her Mother, her children and Jason. I only knew Heather for a short time, but boy did she leave a lasting impression on me. She worked for our cleaning company and did an outstanding job. The day I interviewed her I knew she was an ace and hired her on the spot. We also hired Leslie, they were the best Mom and Daughter team ever. Both Cole and I will miss her greatly. Love and Peace to you Heather.
