Helen was born on June 23rd, 1928 in Great Falls and moved to Coalwood as a toddler. She often talked of riding the horse to school and sliding off on the way. This led to walking the rest of the way.
After moving several times and attending nursing school when she was young, Helen settled in Miles City. She then devoted herself to raising five kids. When Helen reached the age when most people are looking to retire, she took a job in home health care. The next 20 years were filled with a job she loved. Helen used the same care for her clients as she did with her children. In 2006, at the age of 78, Helen was recognized by the state as home care worker of the year.
Helen was preceded in death by brother Francis "Junior" Flanigan, sister Grace Zuelke , daughter Yvonne Clevenger and Grand daughter Jennifer Haag. She leaves one brother Jake (Donna) Flanigan, one daughter Gail (Nick) Haag, three sons: Ron (Deb) Clevenger, Robert (Annette) Morgart and Jerry Morgart. She was also the proud Grandmother to seven Grandchildren.
She was also Aunt "Sis" to her nieces and nephews. You will be missed Mom, We love you.
