Laverne was my cousin whom I was fortunate to get to know during a few of my travels to Montana.
I thought of her as an understanding, funny & giving individual. Throughout the yrs, we had correspondence thru letters & Facebook. I will miss that. I was lucky enough to receive some of her crochet needles & how to books. I will treasure them. She made a blanket for my oldest son that I also treasure. I miss her & my heart goes out to all the families loss. Rip dear cousin Laverne

Helen was a special soul to so many people in so many ways. I was fortunate to know Helen for many years both professionally and personally. She was my first “boss” shortly after I graduated Nursing school (from her alma mater) asking me to move from Aberdeen, South Dakota to Polson, Montana where she had just become the Director of Nursing. Best career move I ever made!! Secondly, I knew Helen personally as my sister married her eldest son Larry. A beautiful person inside and out, I owe my nursing career to this wonderful women!
