I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear loved one. It’s very comforting to know what the Bible says about ones we’ve lost in death. Verses like Acts 24:15 are an excellent example of this: “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” Knowing God’s promise that we’ll be reunited with our loved ones who have died is a promise that I hold dear to me. (John 5:28, 29) I know God’s Word can bring you hope & comfort too.

Don’t know anyone involved with this. But it saddens me to the core that she is so young and had her whole life ahead of herself. This is unacceptable for what is happening to Indian women on reservations. I’m so sorry for your loss and hope that you have the strength to push forward.

My sincere prayer is for Jehovah God (Psalms 83:18) of comfort and tender mercies (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) to comfort your grieving hearts while we await His promise for a new world free of bad people where He will end death…… and make all things new. This is when God’s Kingdom government will be ruling. The one Jesus taught us to pray for in the Lords Prayer .

As a mother myself of a young daughter like Henny, this cuts deep down into my heart knowing that she laid out there on that hill. No mother ever wants to experience that. Dear Paula, you are a strong woman, loving mother and you didnt deserve this to happen to you. Henny definately didnt deserve to have her whole life taken from her. I just pray for you in the days, weeks, and months to come that questions will be answered and justice will be given for your beautiful baby girl. Press into God and allow him to put the peices of your shattered heart back together again.. Prayers will be in my heart for you and your family throughout this hard time and ever after.. may Henny truly Rest IN Peace

My prayers go out to you all. I am giving you a poem that was given to my mom years ago when we lost my brother at the age of 15 yrs. Many hugs and prayers to you all
    God’s Loan
“I’ll lend to you for a little time,
A child of mine,” He said,
“For you to love the while she lives
And mourn for when she’s dead.

“It may be six or seven years
    Or twenty-two or three,
But will you till I call her back,
Take care of her for me?

“She’ll bring her charms to gladden you
And should her stay be brief,
    You’ll have these precious memories
    As solace for your grief.

“I cannot promise she will stay
    Since all from earth return.
But there are lessons taught down there
I want this child to learn.

    “I’ve looked this world over,
In my search for teachers true.
In the crowds that throng life’s land,
    I have selected you.

“Now will you give her all your love
    Not think the labour vain,
Nor hate me when I come to call
    To take her back again?”

It seems to me I heard them say,
“Dear Lord, thy will be done.
For all the joys a child shall bring,
The risk of grief we’ll run.

    “We’ll shelter her with tenderness,
We’ll love her while we may,
And for the happiness we’ve known
    Forever grateful stay.

“And should the angels call for him
    Much sooner than we’ve planned,
We’ll brave the bitter grief that comes
    And try to understand.”

    “Let the little children come to me and do not forbid them;
for such is the Kingdom of God.” Mark 10:14
