Funeral Services For Wilburn Herbert Bill Miles Jr. will be held at Stevenson Wilson Funeral Home on Monday, October 31, 2005 at 10:00 AM. Rev. Marty Crump will officiate. Burial will follow at The Black Hills National Cemetery at 2:30 PM.

Bill passed away on October 26, 2005 at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital of heart failure. He was born on March 11, 1928 in Sharp, Texas to Wilburn Sr. and Dallie (Dodd) Miles. He entered the military service in 1944 and proudly served his country as a Marine through the Second World War, Korea, and Vietnam. Bill and Dorothy Sweeney married in 1957 and settled in Gillette in 1965. They established Miles Texico and Miles Towing at Second and Brooks that year. They moved the business to I-90 and Highway 14-16 in 1969.

Bill is survived by his wife, Dorothy, and his son, David. Bills son Steven passed away earlier this year.
