Holda Pine Roundstone age 71 of Lame Deer, Montana passed away in the peaceful presence of Maheo and heavenly angels on May 11th, 2022. Holda was born on April 12, 1951 in Crow agency Mt. To the late Daniel pine and Florence redneck pine. She had passed away at the crow agency nursing home. In 1972 she had married Frank Roundstone Jr (Archie) Holda had attended elementary at the Lame Deer public school. The then graduated high school at Colstrip public high school. Holda entered the chief dull knife college, where she got an associate degree. She attended many workshops and trainings she worked at the tribal courts. Bia, tribal office (LIHEAP). The job she dearly loved the most was working was at the northern Cheyenne head start program. She worked as the disability coordinator for many years. She also been an acting director. She also helped start the Cheyenne Immersion Class.
Holda followed the Cheyenne way of life, She was the first Traditional Princess of The Chiefs Pow-wow (4th of July). She was a daughter of the late Daniel Pine. He was a daughter of a hereditary chief sweet medicine council of 44. She also enjoyed attending pow-wow and Sundance, she also participated in sweats. She held prayer on Sundays in her home. She invited others to come and pray along with her. Her Prayer meeting included a meal. she enjoyed eating out with family and friends, and long drives. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She had a concern for her neighborhood and the children, she started a neighborhood watch in west side housing, she was on the sand creek committee.
Holda survived by her sister Anna Ryan sons Flint R. Roundstone, Harlan C. Roundstone (Roxanne) Chey Roundstone. Daughter Rochelle Roundstone (Michael) nephews Van Ryan, Paul Ryan, Quentin Ryan (Michaelena), Brent Ryan, Siedel Pine, Lee Davis Pine, Allen Pine, Leland Pine. Nieces Vanessa James (Johnson), Gaylene Ryan, Elizabeth Pine, grandsons Miko Brady, Lyndon Roundstone, D’Angelo Whiteman, Chey Roundstone Jr Tarver Roundstone, Siedel Pine jr. Stephon Pine, Aiden Roundstone, Damien Roundstone Raymond Pine III. Granddaughters, LaPrinciah Whiteman, Cheyenne Pine. Great granddaughters LaRayah Gardner, RosaLynn Gardner, Maycie Blackbird, her special friends Georgia runsabove and Bertha Otherbull. Preceded in death by her father Daniel pine. Her mother Florence redneck pine. brother Raymond pine sr. perry pine, Leroy pine, daughter Carolyn Roundstone, nephews Raymond Pine II, Ivan Ryan, Ian Pine, niece Florence Pine.
Numerous relatives included rednecks, night walkers, bellymules, strangelOwls, Braided hairs, Blackwolfs, Rockroads they are so many friends and family, and extended relatives and if we left anyone out we give our heartfelt apologies.
