Carol Wagner DeForest says
Howard was my cousin. I am Elsie Gackle Wagner’s youngest surving daughter. My mother, brothers Gerald and Neil and I attended the Gackle reunion in Billings in 1997. My mother was the oldest Gackle in attendance. Since that time my brother Duane died in 2011 and Gerald died in 2013. Neil is doing well at 89. My sister Jean is 85. My brother Fred will be 81 this fall and I will be 78 in August . Our mother lived to be 11 days short of 101. Two other Gackle relatives, Tille Gackle Isack’s sons Howard and James also lived to be over 100. I’ve always hoped to be able to hear from the Montana Gackle relatives.
