Huldah Karge passed away Friday, August 27, 2004 at Faith Lutheran Home.
She was born October 3, 1906 at Sisseton, South Dakota to Inga Ostberg and Edward Bach. In 1915, she came to Montana with her widowed mother and three brothers.Huldah graduated from Wolf Point High School in 1924 as valedictorian of her class. She attended Minot State College and taught in rural schools until 1930 when she married Albert Karge. To this union were born three children, Harvey (Bertha), Irma Christensen (Tom) and Kenneth (Audrey).Huldah loved to read, garden and do puzzles. She especially loved crocheting and was known for her beautiful doilies.Huldah was devoted to her church and her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert, son Harvey and five brothers, Morris, Sverre (Slim), Edward, Harry, and Paul.
Her children, Irma Christensen of Wolf Point and Kenneth Karge of Seaside, OR, survive her. Grandchildren Kay and Kent Christensen, Kari, Kris, Leroy and George Karge and Karolyn Braun, great-grandchildren Alissa Christensen, Natasha Braun, and Evan, Cami and Celeste Karge, also survive her. Brothers Donald Anderson of Casa Grande, AZ and Robert Anderson of Kalispell and sister Irene Erickson of Wolf Point also survive her.All of us in her family, who she left behind, loved her very much and will cherish her memory.
