Vonda, Harley and Mearle: My thoughts and prayers go out to you during this hard time.
Vonda: The memories I have of your mom are all wonderful memories especially the ones when we would ask to go drive around and she would be standing in the doorway of the house and look at us like, really you can’t just stay home. Then she would say go ahead but don’t be to late and when you get home stay in the rec room don”t mess up the house. May those memories and others bring comfort during this difficult time.

    Hugs and prayers to you

    Dear Vonda, Harley, and Merle,
I am so sorry to hear of Irene’s passing. Vonda, it sure brought back memories from a long time ago when we used to ride the bus together, and ride 3 wheelers, and go to Ruth’s house to play board games, and get together on Saturdays to play. I’ll never forget the day I was at your house and your mom made split pea soup – not my favorite!! We sure had a lot of grade-school fun together, didn’t we?! Praying for you now as you go through this time of grief. Enjoy the memories. -Sheila

My sincere condolences to the family of Irene DeTienne – I am sorry to hear of your loss. May you find comfort in many beautiful memories and talents of Mrs. DeTienne at this difficult time. The Bible gives us hope that soon the Creator will end all suffering, pain, and death. (Revelation 21:4). Also we have the hope of being with our loved ones when they are resurrected (John 5:28-29). The promise of Paradise, the perfect conditions God intended for mankind will be fulfilled (Ps. 37:11) including God’s “will being done as in Heaven also up on Earth“ (Matt 6:9, 10). I hope that you are comforted by the many hopeful promises in the Bible. (John 17:3).

Add your thoughts and memories. Upon approval they will be added.
