In Memory Of

Ivan Snell

Visitation will be on Friday, November 12, 2004 from 4-7 p.m. at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Service: will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2004 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, a private cremation service will follow. Service of memory and hope will be Monday, November 15, 2004 at 6:30 at the funeral home

Ivan Snell age 45, of Rozet, Wyoming died November 6, 2004, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Ivan Lee Snell was born August 12, 1959, the son of Samuel and Irene (Fredrickson) Snell in Pinedale, Wyoming. In 1966 the family moved to Gillette, Wyoming where Ivan attended school. At the age of sixteen he started work in the oil fields as a roughneck, working on drilling rigs as a driller and a relief tool pusher. Ivan then worked for Tree Electric, which later became P&H Mine Pro for the last 15 years. On December 2, 1985, Ivan married Cynthia Hanson in Gillette, Wyoming. The couple made their home in Rozet, Wyoming.

Ivan enjoyed camping, fishing, and all sports and especially riding his motorcycle. Ivan also loved to spend time with his children and family. He had many, many, friends who along with his family will miss him dearly. Ivans passion was working and the family has said he was a workaholic.

Ivan is survived by his parents Samuel and Irene Snell; his wife Cynthia Snell; two sons Samuel Snell and Trevor Snell all of Rozet, Wyoming, one brother Travis Snell of Rozet, Wyoming, and one sister, Debbie Dawson of Olathe, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Martha Fredrickson; maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents; Uncle Gene Snell, and Aunt Helen Snell.
