Jacob Jay Huber, of Terry, MT passed away on May 6, 2004 at his home, a week before his 30th birthday after a long illness.
Jay was born at the Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City on May 13, 1974 the son of Gary and Carolyn (Roberts) Huber. He was raised in Terry and went to school in Glendive. Jay graduated from Dawson County High School in 1993 through a special education program. Jay was able to attend his 10-year class reunion in the summer of 2003 with the help of caregivers, Dawyna and Dan Kirkpatrick. Jay participated in Special Olympics and was involved in church activities and loved to bowl until his failing health prevented him from continuing.
Jay is survived by his parents, Gary and Carolyn Huber of Terry, MT, two brothers; SGT Gregory Huber of Fort Sill, OK, and Nolan Huber and his wife Tiffany, and their children Maxine, Jacob and Justis of Terry, MT, his grandmothers; Anna Huber of Fallon and Mildred Roberts of Glendive, MT, his foster family; Randy and Roxanne Clonce and their family of ID, formerly of Glendive. He is also survived by his special friends of the family; Dale, Joan, Jude and Ross Hubber of Terry, MT, and many friends, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers; Jacob Huber and Ray Roberts.
A prayer service will be held on Monday, May 10, 2004 at 6:00 pm at the Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Terry. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at 2:00 pm at the Community Presbyterian Church in Terry.
Interment will follow in the Prairie County Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Monday, May 10, 2004 at 11:00 am at the Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Terry.
