We always joked around at Dull Knife when I was a student and he was a Maintenance man, I rode back with the drum from Bismarck, SD with him, I was in charge of the Dull Knife Drum for Indian Club AIHEC conference In Bismarck, ND. He called me Kiowa guy since I was always serious, talked of the good ole southern people and that Ole southern cooking and hospitality from down that way awesome. A smile goes a long way he would say, good man, always kind, I told him I took care of fire down south with those Caddo’s he was surprised, knows lots of tribes and their ways, told me not to give up my studies at Dull Knife & & graduated in 1993 Associate of Arts degree. God bless the family of my good friend, condolences and in their grief process, maheo took home a good guy. God bless.

Jame Mann was one of the best, he was such a good person and treated everyone with respect and one couldn’t help but admire him. He had a noble way about him, very humble and yet a powerful presence I always enjoyed my conversations with him. I am saddened at his passing and I pray for comfort for him family. You are missed My Friend.
