James Lucas, age 64, of Forsyth

James (Jimmy) Earl Lucas, age 64, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022, peacefully in his sleep. Jim was born in Azusa, California, he was the son of Gene and Betty Lucas.
Jim liked to attend church and to read his Bible. We can rest assured knowing he believed in Jesus and that he has joined Him up in heaven. Jim also enjoyed doing things outdoors. He had a knack for working on vehicles and especially enjoyed doing it with his son Tim. They were always tinkering on something. He enjoyed riding Harley’s and going fishing on the Yellowstone River. One of his greatest loves was his grandchildren. He loved to watch them play outside, participate in their sports activities and ride/race their dirt bikes. He also enjoyed taking them for rides on the “buggy”.
He is survived by his three children, Tracy (Kyle) Zard of Forsyth, MT; Timothy (Jessica) Lucas of Billings, MT and Trina Flores of Billings, MT. His sister Pat (Steve) Blair of Merced, CA and his brother Gene JR. Lucas of Forsyth, MT. His 6 grandchildren, Jordan Cookman, Carter Hegel, Braxton Lucas, Westyn Gustafson, Alexis Lucas, and Zoey Sittingdown. Also his ex-wife Connie Mitich, of Billings, MT.
He was preceded into death with his mom and dad Betty and Gene. His sister Betty Lucas. His son Jimbo Lucas. His nephews Chris and Lil Gene Lucas.
There will be a graveside service held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Forsyth Cemetery. Reception to follow. Location still to be determined.
