In Memory Of

James Mathew Greenwood

Visitation: will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 10, 2004 with the family to receive friends from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Broadus

Funeral Services: will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2004 at 10:30 at the Powder River Congregational Church in Broadus

Interment: will take place at the family ranch in Broadus, at later date.

James Matthew Greenwood, age 19, of Broadus, MT was called to the Lord unexpectedly on Friday, December 3, 2004 from injuries he sustained in an accident while employed in Oklahoma.

James was born on July 12, 1985 in Miles City, Montana. He grew up on Pumpkin Creek in Sonnette, Montana attending grade school and high school in Broadus. He graduated from Powder River County High School in May of 2004. He was baptized, confirmed and a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church of Broadus. James liked to hunt, fish and go camping. He spent many hours doing those things with the people who were closest to him. He enjoyed doing almost anything with his younger brother Jade. James had a generous heart, infectious smile and a love for life. After graduation this spring, he went to Mississippi to visit his father and extended family. He also spent his days off from work with his family there. He had been working for Seismic Drilling Services since August 1, 2004.

James is survived by his grandparents Russ and Carol Greenwood of Sonnnette, his sister Brittney, a senior at Powder River County High School, his brother Jade Hunt and stepfather Jess Hunt and family of Goldendale, WA. He is survived by his Aunt Vicki DeSart and Rob Goodnough and cousin Travis Greenwood of Spearfish, SD, uncles Mike (Darla) Greenwood and Randy Greenwood of Baraboo, WI and cousins Morgan, Andrew, Dillen and Tyler. He is also survived by his great-grandmothers Juanita Greenwood and Ester Neuman of Baraboo, WI. James is survived by his father Jay (Kim) Pounds of McComb, MS and family members Mike & Stacy and their children Mason and Abigail, Tina & Mitch and their children Chance and Alex and by Jonathan.

James was preceded in death by his mother Becky Greenwood Hunt in 1997 and his great grandfathers George Greenwood and Harold Newman.

James, go with God, go with mom. We love you.
