In Memory Of

James @ Sharon Murray, of Miles City, formerly of Glendive

October 18, 1938 – December 21, 2011

James Murray, age 73, of Glendive, oh, he was so loved, and he lived, laughed, and he loved back. But Jim grew tired of fighting a 7 year battle with cancer and so, on December 21st, 2011, Jim´s suffering ended peacefully in his home with his beloved wife Sharon by his side.

Jim was born in Los Angeles, Ca. October 18, 1938 to Jane and Kenneth Murray. Jim was the oldest of six children. He resided in Southern Ca. for most of his life until he retired in 1991 from the California State Franchise Tax Board as an Investigative Agent. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 through 1959.

Retirement took him to Idaho initially, but then through hunting trips he discovered the beauty of Montana and settled here permanently in 1994.

Through fate, Jim and his wife Sharon, having known each other many years, reconnected with one another and in 1997 became man and wife . Sharon was the love of his life.

Jim was an avid bird hunter. This fueled his other love, dogs, and through the years he had many that were not only working dogs but very spoiled and much loved pets

Jim was a gentle soul and kind, patient, and caring to all he came in contact with. He will be greatly missed.

Jim is survived by his wife Sharon, five siblings. A Sister, Karen Murray of California, Sister Kellee (Ken) Murray of California. A Brother Patrick (Keri) of Kansas, a Sister Lori (Jim) of California and a Sister Teri (Tim) of Illinois. A beloved cousin Jon Gunn of Mississippi, and several other cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Cremation has taken place and there are no services planned. Remembrances and Condolences can be shared with Sharon at her home in Glendive. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Terry is in charge of the arrangements.
